Student Conduct
All
students will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with
the festival's
student handbook and to adhere to Bowdoin College's policies
including, but not limited to, the college's social code as described
in the student
handbook. General guidelines include respect for members of
the Bowdoin and Brunswick communities, adherence to Maine State
laws and Bowdoin College rules regarding alcohol and tobacco, and
adherence to the festival's noise policy. Failure to do so will
result in disciplinary action and may result in dismissal from the
festival. Any student dismissed from the festival will forfeit all
of his/her fees in their total amount.
Health Insurance
All enrolled students must submit proof of current health
insurance coverage with their $600 deposit (or $200 deposit for
Performing Associates) in order to secure their participation with
the festival.
In
its employment and admissions practices, the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Inc. is in conformity with all applicable federal and
state statutes and regulations. It does not discriminate on the
basis of age, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, marital status,
religion, creed, ancestry, national and ethnic origins, or physical
or mental handicap.
