June
Han: Faculty, Yale University; Columbia University; Juilliard
Pre-College. Premier Prix for Harp and Chamber Music from the Conservatoire
National Superieur de Musique de Paris and a Master of Music and
Artist Diploma degree from the Yale School of Music. Prizewinner
at the Soka International Competition in Japan and the Concerto
Competition in Aspen. Has appeared in numerous solo recitals, chamber
music ensembles (Sea Cliff Chamber Players, Ensemble Sospeso, Sequitur,
Speculum Musicae) and orchestral performances in Korea, France,
and throughout the United States. Summer festivals include the Aspen
Music Festival, the Tanglewood Music Center and, in France the "Academies
Musicales" in Villecroze, Berry, Gargilesse, and Nice. Coach at
the Chamber Music Program of the New York Youth Symphony. Studied
with Nancy Allen at Yale and with Marie-Claire Jamet at the Conservatory.
Earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree at the Juilliard School.
In residence for full six week session.
